The Boston College women’s soccer team stays undefeated after earning a 3-0 victory over Stony Brook this evening. BC hasn’t allowed a single goal in their past 4 games, scoring 11 goals total themselves.

Junior Olivia Vaughn picked up the first goal of the game to get the scoring started, scoring from the top of the 18-yard box off an assist from Jillian Jennings. This was the only goal of the first period, and BC took a 1-0 lead into the second half.

BC standout Sam Coffey scored the second goal of the game, her fourth of the season, off a free kick at 61:05 to increase BC’s lead to 2. Gianna Mitchell scored off a header from Coffey late in the game, ensuring a 3-0 victory for the Eagles.

Stony Brook managed to get only 1 shot on goal during the entire match, which Alexis Bryant stopped easily.

The Eagles return to action on Saturday, taking on Texas Tech on Newton Campus at 7 PM.
