Boston College Football Recruiting: Eagles Land Commitment From LB Shitta Sillah

New, comments

Another huge get for the Eagles

NCAA Football: Central Michigan at Boston College Brian Fluharty-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College landed yet another big commitment this week, this time landing linebacker Shitta Sillah, a 3* linebacker from New Jersey. Sillah, went to Twitter to announce his commitment.

Why should we be excited about Shitta Sillah? He is a long, explosive linebacker who held offers from the Purdue Boilermakers, Syracuse Orange, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Michigan State Spartans, Vanderbilt Commordores, Virginia Cavaliers along with a host of mid major offers. He is currently the 12th ranked recruit in New Jersey, and 52nd ranked outside linebacker.

Boston College is putting together a killer class at linebacker, including Tommy Eichenberg (close to a 4*), and Marvin Ham (4*). Those are three recruits with tons of high level offers that chose Boston College, and this is big because the Eagles certainly need to continue to build quality depth at this position.

There probably is only room for another 3-4 commitments in this class. Steve Addazio has only thrown out a few depth commitments, most of the class are quality ACC level players, and for that you have to feel pretty good. You can watch Shitta’s HUDL film below.

Welcome to the Heights Shitta!
