The women’s basketball team released the thirteen non-conference games for the upcoming season today. While the Eagles will face some very tough matchups ACC, including defending national champs Notre Dame, the rest of the schedule should be an easier road for the rebuilding Eagles. The OOC schedule holds no NCAA tournament teams from last season. Highlights include a Christmas tournament featuring Loyola MD and St. Joe’s, and rematch against fourth place Big Ten finishers, Minnesota. The schedule includes four programs that finished last in their conference last season: Big East’s Providence, Ivy’s Columbia, MAAC’s St. Peter’s, and A10’s URI.
AD Martin Jarmond replaced head coach Erik Johnson with Joanna Bernabei-McNamee in April as one of his first major personnel moves at BC. Coach Bernabei-McNamee will take take on the task of rebuilding a program that has seen seven consecutive losing seasons.
