Mungin, a 2* safety according to Rivals, also held offers from the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Indiana Hoosiers, Cincinnati Bearcats, UMass and a variety of other MAC and Sun Belt schools. The recruit looks like he has electric speed, running a 4.36 40 according to his HUDL film, and goes by the nickname “Smoke”. He plays at Plant HS in Tampa, a factory high school that play in a tough division in Florida and have also produced some pretty legit talent like quarterback Aaron Murray, wide receiver Mike Williams, and former FSU running back James Wilder Jr. Two other noteworthy alumni are Wade Boggs, and legendary rock musician Stephen Stills.

In another recruiting note, 4* running back Patrick Garwo is going to be announcing his decision on Wednesday. He recently visited UVA, but his 247 predictions show a heavy lean towards Boston College.
