Boston College vs. UMass: Opening Line Set At -20

Boston College’s first kickoff times were released last week, and now the lines for the first game have been released as well. The Eagles open their season against local punching bags the University of Massachusetts Minutemen, and Vegas is predicting BC will run away with it as the line was set a -20. The Eagles last faced UMass in 2016 a game played at Gillette, when BC won 27-6, they also faced off in 2014 when BC won 30-7 . There has been a lot of press recently that actually has Mark Whipple’s team as a possible bowl candidate, so this game may be closer than the Vegas line predicts. But, I doubt it.

Purdue -4½ vs. Northwestern

Wake Forest -9 at Tulane

Syracuse -4½ at Western Michigan

Florida State -6½ vs. Virginia Tech

Miami Florida -3 vs. LSU

Alabama -28½ vs. Louisville
