We all witnessed what A.J. Dillon is capable of during his freshman 2017 campaign. With 1589 yards, 13 touchdowns and some jaw dropping runs, Dillon has leapt onto the national radar. Today, Vegas oddsmaker Betonline released odds for the 2018 Heisman Trophy Award, and Dillon has pretty solid odds.
Following the likes of leader Bryce Love (5/1), Jonathan Taylor, Jake Fromm and Will Grier, Dillon made the list at 25/1 odds. Obviously a lot would need to happen for Dillon to win the Heisman, Boston College as a program will need to take a step forward and become an ACC contender. Another piece, like it or not, is that Addazio is going to need to leave him in there to pad his stats. Getting some garbage time touchdowns may give him more impressive numbers. Whether you agree or not, it is part of the game.
But he in terms of yards rushed last year he is 6th in returning players, and 9th in returning rushing touchdowns from last season.
