Anthony Campanile And Scot Loeffler Receive Promotions

Congrats to the two coaches

The Boston College Eagles coaching staff changed slightly on Wednesday as the school announced that two coaches would be receiving promotions:

“Boston College head football coach Steve Addazio announced new titles for Scot Loeffler and Anthony Campanile on the coaching staff. Loeffler has been elevated to Deputy Head Coach Offense/Offensive Coordinator and will continue to coach the quarterbacks while Campanile has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator in addition to serving as the secondary coach for the Eagles.”

This move makes a lot of sense especially for Campanile. There were rumors this winter that he was being sought after by Rutgers, and who could blame him he has done a great job recruiting the state of New Jersey, and he could join his brother on the staff. By giving him a bump in responsibility it shows BC’s commitment to the young coach, and hopefully will keep him around for years to come.

Loeffler on the other hand, I’m not sure what this bump means. It probably means a little more responsibility and maybe a pay increase.

Congratulations to both coaches.
