In perhaps the least surprising move of the off-season, BC guards Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman announced that they are testing the NBA Draft waters. It is IMPORTANT to note that neither player is hiring an agent yet, so they both have the opportunity to come back to BC.
Robinson said in a statement through BC, ““After consulting with my family and coaches, I have decided to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft,” Robinson said. “I will not hire an agent, as to maintain my collegiate eligibility. I am thankful for my experience at BC and this opportunity and I look forward for what is to come.”
Bowman’s statement on the matter, “After some heart to heart consultation with my family and coaches, I have decided to declare for the 2018 NBA Draft. I am excited to see what the possibilities are for the next stage of my career, but remain committed to Boston College, therefore, I will not hire an agent, as to maintain my NCAA eligibility.”
Robinson and Bowman will be allowed to participant in workouts and the NBA Draft Combine. If the players don’t like the feedback that they receive from NBA teams they have until May 30th to decided to come back to school.
