After earning the ACC regular season title thanks to an undefeated regular season, BC will be competing for the ACC Championship today against #2 seed UNC. BC easily defeated both Louisville and Notre Dame to get to the finals, scoring 36 goals over 2 games and winning by an average of 11.5 goals. UNC demolished Syracuse in the first round of the tournament with a 21-12 victory and defeated Virginia Tech on Friday to make it to the finals. The Tar Heels have 35 goals so far in the tournament and an average winning margin of 7.5 goals. Earlier this season, BC earned a 17-11 victory over UNC. This won’t be an easy win for the Eagles, but if they limit their turnovers and stay strong on defense, they should certainly be able to defeat UNC.
