After a strong showing for the Boston College Eagles during the 2017-18 season, it appears head coach Jim Christian is being rewarded for it.
Jon Rothstein has reported that Christian has been extended through the 2021-22 season.
Boston College's Jim Christian has received a two-year contract extension through the 2021-22 season, per multiple sources.

It is hard to argue that this is not a well deserved extension for Christian. As we noted back in March, Christian has done a good job bringing back a Boston College men’s basketball program that was in shambles. Christian has since built up a roster with future (and possibly one current) NBA Draft picks, and appears to have the Eagles poised for a deep ACC Tournament run (and possibly an NCAA Tournament berth) for the 2018-19 season with yet another strong recruit, top-100 recruit Jairus Hamilton on the roster.
It will certainly be interesting to see if Christian will be able to continue his success, but in the meantime, he has been given a well earned extension.
