Boston College men’s basketball earned a 10 point victory over Georgia State this afternoon. The Eagles won by a score of 87-77 and will face NC State tomorrow as they look towards an ACC Tournament trophy.
The Eagles were led by Ky Bowman, who scored 26 points and has now reached the 1,000 points club at Boston College. Jerome Robinson (19), Nik Popovic (20), and Jordan Chatman (13) also scored in the double digits. Freshman Steffon Mitchell had a game-high 11 rebounds, while Bowman’s 10 rebounds earned him a double-double.
The Eagles almost let Georgia Tech stage a comeback with a few minutes left to go in the game, but were able to regain the 10 point lead they had at halftime. BC struggled in a few different areas, but 17 turnovers and a 14.3% 3-pointer percentage were both standout issues.
We’ll have more analysis of today’s game from our basketball writers later tonight, but in the meantime share your thoughts about today and predictions for tomorrow in the comments!
