Boston College Football Recruiting: Eagles Land Commitment From ‘19 Linebacker Marvin Ham

The Boston College Eagles landed their second commitment of the week as Michigan linebacker Marvin Ham committed to the Eagles. The junior went to Twitter to announce his decision

Ham, a 6’1 inside linebacker has interest from a variety of schools in the area including the Iowa State Cyclones, Ohio Bobcats, Akron Zips, Buffalo Bulls and Central Michigan Chipewas. He is the first recruit to come from Michigan this cycle, a state where BC has had little success in the past grabbing recruits like Richard Wilson and Tom Kowalkoski (who is no longer with the team). While the state hasn’t completely been a fertile recruiting ground, the area has been heating up for the Eagles, as this is the second recruit from the midwest in this class. Ham visited the college this past weekend, and apparently that was enough to seal the deal.

Marvin Ham joins Bryce Sebastian and Spencer Bono in the Class of 2019. With more recruits visiting this weekend, Boston College could be seeing more commits . Make sure to check back to BC Interruption for more updates, and of course follow me at @BCHysteria on Twitter for up to date information.
