Boston College Lands Commitment From 2019 DE Spencer Bono

It’s a beautiful day at the Heights as the Eagles land a ‘19 commit

One. That was the amount of visits it took for Boston College to land a commitment from 2019 defensive end Spencer Bono. The Elder High School junior found what he was looking for on his visit, and went to Twitter to announce his commitment to the Eagles:

The three star Edge defender also held offers from the Indiana Hoosiers, Louisville Cardinals, Maryland Terrapins, Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Pittsburgh Panthers, Purdue Boilermakers and Cincinnati Bearcats. Steve Addazio was able to move in mysterious ways, grabbing his first recruit in Ohio in over a year, which is a really good sign. It is also huge to see Boston College get some real elevation over peer schools, especially this early in the recruiting process.

Bono is the second commit from this class, joining Connecticut running back Bryce Sebastian who committed a few weeks ago.
