Boston College Women’s Basketball vs. UNC: ACC Tournament Preview

New, comments

#13 BC faces #12 UNC tomorrow

NCAA Basketball: Boston College at Notre Dame Matt Cashore-USA TODAY Sports

After finishing 12th in the ACC with a 2-14 record, BC will face UNC tomorrow for the chance to move on in the ACC Tournament. The Eagles finished ahead of Clemson (1-13) and Pittsburgh (2-14). Clemson’s lone ACC win of the year was against BC.

Although UNC finished above BC this season, the Eagles defeated the Tar Heels in regular season play this year, picking up a 77-64 victory at Conte. UNC ended the season on a 9 game losing streak, but has played slightly better than BC throughout the full season. This will be a tough game for the Eagles, but winning is possible.
