BC hits the road for tonight’s game in Raleigh followed by a Saturday matinee in Coral Gables as we hit our final four-game stretch of the regular season. The Eagles are hoping to erase the memory of a deflating home loss to Notre Dame this weekend.
Keys to the Game
In what has become a persistent issue for this team, the Eagles came out very flat against Notre Dame and let themselves dig a hole that was too deep to climb out of when they did rally. They also allowed an opposing shooter to have a ridiculous scoring night; this time it was Matt Farrell racking up 37 points on 10-12 three-point shooting. Defensive consistency, especially behind the three-pont arc, as well as getting their offense started early in the first half are huge keys for this and each game going forward for the Eagles.
NC State’s Strengths
NC State has strong rebounding numbers and an offensive efficiency of 116.1 on KenPom, which is well above league average. The good news for the BC defense is that they do not typically shoot a lot of 3s.
Wolfpack Player To Watch
#14 C Omer Yurtseven. The 7-footer is averaging 13.8 PPG, 6.8 RPG, and 48.6% 3PFG.
Predictions
Matt: 77-69 NC State
Toppin: 90-72 NC State
Katie: 86-79 NC State
