The Boston College Eagles, fresh off a three point weekend against Boston University take on UConn in another home-and-home. Here’s what you need to know.

1. Similar Game: Statistically speaking, the Huskies are similar to the BU team that BC just played. UConn’s CF% is roughly around where BU is currently, and the save % for the Huskies is about where it was for the Terriers just last week (Oettinger’s 42 save shutout helped out his numbers a bit. We should see similar games to the game last week.
2. Offense looks good-ish!: Or at least it did against BU. BC dominated in corsi for Saturday evening in the 0-0 tie, and kept with the Terriers in the win Friday. The offense still has a long way to go, but this is reassuring.
3. Close Out the First Half Strong: A lot of bad stuff happened this first half of the season, but the season itself is still very salvageable. Going into the winter break with a strong finish would be big mentally moving forward.

Predictions:

I think that this feels like a three point weekend for the Eagles again, but I’ll pick a sweep for the lolz. I see a lot of similarities between UConn and BU, and think the series will go the same way.
