FINAL: Boston College Men’s Hockey Downs Vermont 4-1

BC Hockey

Hey don’t look now, but the Boston College Eagles are one win away from a winning streak.

The Eagles appear to be back to their winning ways after a 4-1 beatdown of the Vermont Catamounts Thursday evening.

The Eagles’ effort started with a strong first period, much like the game against Merrimack last Saturday. The Eagles put up three goals on 17 shots on goal,

Joe Woll had a night to remember as well. Woll came just short of the shutout, netting 29 saves on 30 shots, the only goal ceded to Joey Cipollone late in the third period.

The Eagles will get to continue their winning ways Friday night as they play the Vermont Catamounts again in the second game of the two game home series.
