Tonight, Boston College takes on UMass Amherst for the first time this season. The Minutemen are much better this year than they have been in recent memory, but still don’t have a winning record. This would probably be an easy game for BC if not for injuries to Kevin Lohan and Aapeli Räsänen (who could possibly be back tonight - cross your fingers). As it stands, the Eagles should still win this game but it might be closer than many expect.

Ice Cream of the Game
Many of our other previews feature a beverage of the game, but this year we’ll be picking an ice cream dessert of the game for MIH games. Why, you ask? Because when Jerry York got the BC coaching job, he went out for ice cream sundaes to celebrate.
This week, in solidarity with Kevin Lohan and his jaw injury, go for a frappe after the game and cross your fingers for him to recover quickly.

Cat Predictions
Every game, we have the cats of the Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter (located right across from BC at 30 Undine Road) predict the outcome of the games. The Gifford Cat Shelter is the oldest cageless, no-kill shelter in the USA.
Tonight, Gifford alumnus Yorkie is predicting a 3-2 BC win.
