Boston College landed a nice late addition to their 2018 recruiting class. According to reports on Twitter, Javian Dayne from Wisconsin has committed to the Eagles

Dayne is the son of Heisman Award winning running back Ron Dayne. He recently received an offer from Boston College, and held no other offers at this point.
With the departure of graduate student Jon Hilliman who has headed off to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights for his final year, Boston College needed some depth at running back, and with the addition of David Bailey and Dayne they have that now.
Dayne finished his senior year with by gaining first-team all-state honors from the state media after finishing with 2,263 yards and 33 touchdowns on 290 carries.
Bailey and Dayne join A.J. Dillon, Richard Wilson and Travis Levy on the roster. Dayne is an interesting recruit for the Eagles, as he is not only the son of a legendary college player, but he is the only player from the state of Wisconsin on the roster.
Welcome to the Heights Javian!
