The Boston College women’s hockey team added another win last night with a 6-2 victory over the Harvard Crimson. The Eagles are now 20-2-3 on the season.

The Eagles took an early lead in the game, scoring just 3 minutes into the first period. Kenzie Kent and Caitrin Lonergan set up a terrific play that allowed freshman Willow Corson to score her 6th goal of the season. Toni Ann Miano scored late in the period to give BC a 2-0 lead heading into the second. Makenna Newkirk picked up a rebound from a Daryl Watts shot to score the only goal of the second period before things got crazy in the third.

The Eagles scored first in the third, thanks to Lonergan, and went up 4-1. The Crimson scored their first goal on the game with 8 minutes remaining, but Daryl Watts put BC up 5-1 seconds later. Harvard cut the lead back to 3 goals at 18:54, but with under a minute to go in the game Erin Connolly scored her third goal of the season for a final score of 6-2 in favor of BC.

The Eagles return to action this weekend, when they will play 2 games against Vermont.
