After a less than ideal tournament in Las Vegas, the BC men’s hockey team returns to Conte tonight to start the second half of the season. Tonight’s matchup against Providence is a big one that could have be a deciding factor in whether or not BC makes the NCAA Tournament at the end of the year.

Ice Cream of the Game
Many of our other previews feature a beverage of the game, but this year we’ll be picking an ice cream dessert of the game for MIH games. Why, you ask? Because when Jerry York got the BC coaching job, he went out for ice cream sundaes to celebrate.
To start the second half of the season, celebrate the snow with a snow cone - that’s sort of ice cream, right?
Every game, we have the cats of the Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter (located right across from BC at 30 Undine Road) predict the outcome of the games. The Gifford Cat Shelter is the oldest cageless, no-kill shelter in the USA.
Tonight, Gifford alumnus Yorkie is predicting a 1-1 tie. Meh.
