Boston College vs Central Michigan Game Thread (1 pm, ACC Network Extra)

Things are far from rosy for the Boston College football team as it returns to Alumni Stadium.

The Eagles hung tight with defending national champion Clemson into the fourth quarter last week in Death Valley, but the dam broke in a 34-7 loss to the Tigers.

It followed a 29-point loss to Notre Dame, where the Eagles played with the Irish for just over a half in Chestnut Hill, and a turnover-heavy loss to Wake Forest the week before. Basically, the Eagles haven't finished a game since Week 1 at MAC foe Northern Illinois, and coach Steve Addazio is most certainly feeling the heat from the BC faithful.

That heat could get turned up to 11 if Boston College doesn't take care of business against another MAC team in the form of Central Michigan. The Chippewas have lost two in a row, including 24-point loss at Syracuse, but they do have a road win against a Power 5 school, after crushing Kansas on September 9th.

Can BC slow down a CMU offense that has some juice, or will it be a crushing setback for the current coaching staff? Let us know in the comments!
