Name: Chris Grando

Number: 21

Position: Forward

Class Year: Freshman

Background: Grando is known for being a good, speedy skater. He has spent the past 2 seasons with the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL. This past season he had 33 points in 60 games, including 9 goals. He also was assessed 42 penalty minutes - despite being a smaller player, Grando is not afraid to get physical with the other team. Grando is the type of player that might not get noticed by casual fans, but that becomes a favorite amongst people that are really watching his team. He always plays hard, and he has solid offensive contributions.

2017-18 Outlook: Grando is smaller, quick forward with good hockey sense - the type of player that thrives at BC. He might not make a huge impact as a freshman, but fans should expect him to grow into a fan favorite over his 4 years at BC. Grando is good at finishing plays, which will be important for a team that will need some chippy goals to win games.

Fun Fact: Grando’s father was a Division II basketball player in college.
