It appears new BC assistant Chris Cheeks is not messing around when it comes to recruiting. Cheeks has been on the job just a few weeks but has secured one of the biggest visits in recent memory.
BC will bring in No. 55 Jairus Hamilton next weekend, source told ESPN. UNC, Duke offered. Can’t remember kid ranked this high visiting BC.

Hamilton is a 6’8” wing that is ranked nationally somewhere between 55-81 depending on which publication you trust. The North Carolina native has an impressive list of offers from schools like Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, Arizona, Ohio State, South Carolina and many more ACC schools.
The likelihood that BC lands Hamilton is probably slim, but it’s impressive that Cheeks way able to secure a visit from a recruit this highly rated from outside the New England region. BC has been able to get local starts to visit through the years like Noah Vonleh, Wayne Selden and others, but someone ranked this high from outside the region is rare.
BC has one scholarship available still in the 2018 class.
