Meet #6

Name: Michael Campoli

Number: 6

Position: Defense

Class Year: Sophomore

Background: Campoli played in 12 games as a freshman, recording 1 assist and showing some strong defensive foundations. Prior to joining the Eagles, Campoli played for the USNTDP. He rarely found himself on the offensive side of the scoresheet, focusing instead on playing mistake-free defense.

2017-18 Outlook: Campoli should expect to see more playing time this season. His place in the roster will depend on how the incoming freshman (and graduate student) develop, but he could definitely crack the top 6. Campoli is known for being a defensive defenseman that has a strong focus on protecting the net. He is the type of player that flies under the radar as a freshman, but develops into a strong player and fan favorite during 4 years at BC.

Fun Fact: When Campoli played in the Quebec Midget AAA league, he received an academic award for having the best grades out of all his teammates.
