Name: Ian Milosz
Number: 29
Position: Goalie
Class Year: Junior
Background: Like Michael Kim, Milosz joined the team midway through his freshman year due to team injuries. As a freshman, he started in 2 games and went 1-0-1 with a .899 save percentage. Both of Milosz’s outings in net were against Providence. He had a career high 38 saves in the tie. Milosz adjusted quickly to the pace of the NCAA, and while he’s no Joe Woll or Thatcher Demko (not many are), fans could feel comfortable when he was in net
2017-18 Outlook: Fans should not expect Milosz to see much ice time. He has proven himself to be a capable backup, but will likely find himself as the third stringer barring any injuries to Ryan Edquist or Joe Woll. Las season, Edquist was called upon to play when Woll could not and Milosz did not see any game time.
Fun Fact: Milosz shares a last name with famed Polish poet Czesław Miłosz.
