After a red-hot opening weekend, Boston College men’s soccer finds itself in the national top 25 for the first time this season. In three of the four main national polls, the Eagles were unranked going into the season, and moved up to number 22 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, number 17 in the College Soccer News Poll, number 25 in the Top Drawer Soccer, and remains unranked in the Soccer America poll.
The Eagles opened the season with two 4-0 wins, one against Boston University and one against Quinnipiac. The Eagles are now one of the between 8-12 ACC teams ranked in the four major polls after the league as a whole jumped out to an otherworldly 19-3 this weekend.
Boston College will return to the pitch on Friday at 4 PM against the University of New Hampshire on Newton Campus’ soccer field.
