BC men’s soccer was picked to finish fifth in the ACC’s Atlantic Division, behind Wake Forest, Clemson, Louisville, and Syracuse. Although it may be disappointing for Eagles fans to see them projected to finish fifth out of six teams, it should be noted that the four teams picked to finish ahead of them are all top ten teams in the preseason national men’s soccer poll.
BC finished in fifth place in the Atlantic Division last year, one point behind Syracuse. As the Eagles move forward to move into elite company nationally, they will need to be able to compete in every match against the ACC’s elite teams, most of which are projected ahead of them in the Atlantic Division.
The Eagles will begin their season on Friday, August 25th by hosting Quinnipiac.
