Name: Colton Lichtenberg
Position: Kicker
Number: 99
Year: Junior
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 190
Hometown: Savannah, Georgia
High School: Savannah Country Day
2016 Stats: Lichtenberg played in only the first game last year against Georgia Tech in Dublin before he left with a quad injury. In that game he recorded two PATs and missed two kicks (granted one was blocked). He was replaced by a resurgent Mike Knoll in the following weeks, who never gave up the starting job and remains in the driver’s seat this year.
Projections: Lichtenberg has struggled since he arrived at Boston College, going 3 for 6 his freshman year, and it is hard to see him winning the job this year. But as I have said before, nothing is out of the question with BC’s kicking corps and it is just as likely as not at this point that Lichtenberg kicks.
Over/Under: n/a
How’d He Get Here: According to Kohl’s Kicking, Lichtenberg was the 10th ranked kicker in the 2015 class. He’s always had a strong leg, which you can see below.
