2017 Projections: For the past two years Borgersen has been perhaps the most asked about player from fans among the group of players that haven’t received much playing time. As BC’s passing game has struggled for a few seasons fans have wondered why Borgersen hasn’t seen the field.

Last year’s limited playing time could be blamed on a leg injury that kept Borgersen off the field for much of 2015. Is the wide receiver finally healthy and ready to contribute? We all know that Borgersen can catch the ball and he has even displayed the ability in scrimmages and spring games. The question is whether his athleticism is good enough for the ACC. This year we should finally get our answer.

How'd He Get Here: Borgersen was a three-star receiver and received other offers from Maryland, Temple and Central Florida among others. Borgersen committed to BC in July before his senior season. Former offensive coordinator Ryan Day was the lead recruiter for Borgersen
