Name: Chris Garrison
Position: Wide Receiver/Tight End
Number: 81
Year: Sophomore
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 240
Hometown: Goffstown, New Hampshire
High School: Lawrence Academy
2016 Stats: As a redshirt freshman, Garrison played in the first five games of the season last year, starting two. He recorded five catches for 90 yards before getting injured in the first quarter of the Buffalo game.
Projections: The Eagles have a pretty deep pool of wide receivers to reach into, with wideouts Jeff Smith, Charlie Callinan, Michael Walker, and Thaddeus Smith returning for the season, which might hinder Garrison’s chances at playtime at that position. That said, with the exception of Smith, BC lacks star power at the position. At tight end, Tommy Sweeney is the clear starter and the only person between Garrison and playtime. I would fully expect Garrison to get snaps and work his way up the chart since he should be recovered from his fractured tibia. He should contribute tremendously as a blocker and another receiving threat out of the heavier sets.
Over/Under: 200 yards and a touchdown.
How’d He Get Here: A 3-star recruit, Garrison had five total offers: UConn, Maryland, UMass, BC, and New Hampshire. The Eagles were his best offer and obviously had the benefit of being local, and he enrolled in the fall of 2015
