Name: Jon Baker

Position: Center

Number: #77

Year: Senior

Height: 6-foot-3

Weight: 300 lbs.

Hometown: Millis, MA

High School: Miss High School

2016 Stats: Baker started all 13 games at center for the Eagles in 2016

2017 Projections: Baker didn’t see playing time this spring as he sat out practice due to an injury. Addazio sees Baker as the key to the offensive line “On offense, we're going to start to see the emergence of playmakers, guys that were young players that are now matured, experienced, and I believe on the verge of breaking out. We'll be better at every position on that side of the ball. Our offensive line, Jon Baker, anchors it at center. Jon is going to be a three-year starter for us, and going into his senior year.” Baker will be starting at center again this season for the second straight season. If he has a good season, Baker’s stock could really soar and there could be All-ACC honors and a possible draft day call in his future.

How'd He Get Here: Baker was a well sought after recruit in 2014, a 3* according to Rivals, with offers from Michigan State, Temple, Syracuse, Ohio, UMass and lesser schools like UConn.
