Boston College GIF of the Year: Octofinals, Matchup #7

We’re almost done with the first round of the 2017 GIF of the Year tournament — can you believe it?

Our string of blowouts continues. Davon Jones’ sweet RB pass to Tommy Sweeney to beat NC State took down Katie Crowley’s championship celebration by a score of 71-29. That brings us to today’s matchup, the penultimate of the octofinals round.

Let’s meet the contestants.

Incredulous Daz

We accidentally used a Daz GIF from 2015 when this post originally dropped. Oops. It’s too bad, because it was a good one. You can enjoy it here, even if it’s ineligible for this year’s bracket.

Fortunately, we have another Daz GIF to replace it with! Welcome Incredulous Daz to the tournament. We’re all Incredulous Daz from time to time... especially during football season.

Brown With Authority

It’s not often that the 7th goal of a 7-0 blowout is worthy of a good GIF, but this is the exception. Christopher Brown absolutely dunked on the Vermont goaltender with 0.2 seconds left in the game. It was even better because it came immediately following the Catamounts getting a bit uppity at the other end of the ice.
