Boston College Football Recruiting: 2018 OL Khris Banks Commits To Eagles

The Eagles Land Another NJ Recruit

Boston College continued it’s torrid pace in the Garden State on Thursday, as DePaul offensive lineman Khris Banks committed to the Eagles (per his Twitter page):

Banks, a 3* offensive lineman from Wayne, New Jersey was 247 Crystal Balled to Rutgers by 67% of their respondents. He had offers from Rutgers, Temple, Marshall, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Kent State and some FCS schools. His main recruiter, was of course defensive back coach Anthony Campanile, who apparently is now the don of New Jersey.

The 6’4 290 Banks, is the fourth offensive lineman taken in this class, joining Finn Dirstine, Thomas Shelmire of Texas, and Tyler Vrabel of Texas. Those are four great looking offensive lineman recruits for Addazio and offensive line coach Justin Frye. That would be one very highly recruited player (Dirstine), two who play with Texas talent, and Banks who plays in the not so shabby state of New Jersey.

Boston College now have 19 players in this class, and currently rank #5 in the ACC and #28 in the country. Again that has more to do with the sheer number of recruits, but this class is coming along nicely for Steve Addazio and his staff.

You can check out Khris’s HUDL film below. Welcome to the Heights!
