If you were hoping to visit the campus of Missouri and attend the game in 2024, you are going to have to change your plans. According to multiple reports online, it looks like the Missouri and Boston College game will be moved to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The last time Missouri played at was against BYU, and according to a report, it didn’t go very well:
“The Boston College game is something of a makeup game for Arrowhead Stadium after the last game in Kansas City — against BYU in November 2015 — failed to meet revenue expectations in the wake of a brief boycott by Tigers players earlier in the week that threatened to cancel the game.”
This move, which is out of the hands out of Boston College, could be seen as a mixed bag. On the positive side, Kansas City is a great place to visit and using Arrowhead as a recruiting tool can’t hurt either. On the other, there may have been BC fans that wanted to visit Mizzou, and it doesn’t look like there will be a trip there anywhere in the future.
The trip to Arrowhead adds to a list of alternative spots Boston College has played in or is scheduled to play at recently including: Dublin, Ireland, Fenway Park (x2), Gillette Stadium (x2), Yankee Stadium, and Ford Field.
