Boston College continued their torrid streak on the recruiting trail on Sunday, this time landing 3* linebacker Nick DeNucci from New Jersey

DeNucci is an absolutely major get for the Eagles. A 3* linebacker from Pope John High School in Sparta NJ jumps up to the #2 rated recruit for Boston College according to 247sports. He has a very impressive offer list including schools such as Louisville, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Purdue, Syracuse, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Temple, West Virginia and Army.

DeNucci is considered by 247 to be the #13 rated recruit in the state of New Jersey and the 20th ranked inside linebacker. Based on his offers, and rating he is an absolute steal for Boston College.

Boston College defensive back coach Anthony Campanile continues to be a major force in his state of New Jersey. DeNucci joins quarterback Johnny Langan, inside linebacker Vinny DePalma, and safety Evan Stewart from the state of New Jersey.

The biggest news has to be the overall rating of the Class of 2018. True it is early, and they are have more recruits than many other schools, but currently BC has the #24 recruiting class in the country.
