Boston College Football: Eagles Land 2018 Defensive Back Tyler Days

A high flyer at the camp, BC landed their second DB of the week

Boston College has been holding summer camps for perspective recruits, and they apparently have found a new defensive back after this weekend’s camp. Per his Twitter page, Tyler Days has claimed that he has committed to the Eagles

(We’ll forgive him for the hashtag)

Days is a 6’1 185 lb junior from Cicero North Syracuse High School in Cicero, NY. There isn’t a lot on Days on the recruiting sites, but he does have a Scout.com website that claims he had attended camp at Syracuse as well. According to that profile he does not have any other offers.

What Days lacks in offers, he makes up for in speed. His HUDL and Scout pages have him running around a 4.5 40, and an 11 second 100 yard dash. If Addazio wants to go after defensive backs with speed, but who need work on technique, I’m all for it. You can’t teach speed.

Tyler is the second defensive back taken in the past week, joining Aaron Gethers who committed on Friday. Keep an eye on BCI for further breaking news on these commitments and to see if any other recruits choose BC.

Welcome to the Heights Tyler!
