Boston College Athletics has announced that the 2016-17 Golden Eagle Awards will stream live on bceagles.com and Periscope. The event will begin at 6:45 PM on May 5 and content will also be shared across BC Athletics’ social media channels.
The awards presented at the second annual awards ceremony include academic awards, community service awards, and athletic achievement awards. Boston College will also announce the male and female Eagles of the Year at the event. Other athletic achievement awards will include Rookie of the Year and Unsung Hero, among others.
Courtney Cox, BC ‘14, who currently works for NESN, will host the Golden Eagles and will provide “backstage access” on social media. Make sure to tune in for some fun Boston College content.
BC Interruption will be naming our own season ending award winners at the conclusion of the 2016-17 softball, baseball, or lacrosse season - whichever comes last for the Eagles.
