Boston College Sailing: Erika Reinke Nabs Sailor of the Year Award

Erika Reinke was named the Quantam Sailor of the Year at the Sperry Women’s National Championship Finals Friday afternoon, Boston College Athletics announced.

In addition to Reinke’s Sailor of the Year award, she was also named All-American, in addition to teammate Ally Donahue.

Despite coming in second, BC did nab the New England Women’s trophy based off its performance in the Championship Finals.

After Yale and BC, the Coast Guard Academy finished third with 259 points, URI finished fourth with 261 points, and Stanford finished fifth with 267 points.
