Boston College Football Recruiting: 2018 LB Hugh Davis Commits To Eagles

Another great get for the Eagles

NCAA Football: Boston College vs Massachusetts Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College landed another coveted 2018 recruit as Cathedral High School (Indiana) linebacker Hugh Davis has committed to the Eagles.

Davis, a 6’1 210 linebacker from Indiana chose Boston College over his other final two schools, Syracuse and Cincinnati. His other claimed offers were from Indiana, Northern Illinois, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Ball State and Bowling Green. He is considered a 3* recruit according to Rivals. Davis is the 10th recruit in the Class of 2018, and the first linebacker in the class. It’ll be worth watching to see if they take another one or two now due to the transfer of Ethan Tucky to Cincinnati.

Cathedral is becoming a go to school for the Eagles, as Davis is the second commit in the past two years joining safety Ben Stewart who will be joining BC this summer.

Congratulations to Hugh on his decision, also have to love the hashtag #BeatClemson. Welcome to the Heights!
