Boston College clearly has opened a pipeline with former BC players and coach Paul Zukauskas’s Lawrence Academy program as 3* DT Ryan Betro committed today to the Eagles via Twitter:

Betro, a 6’4 280lb defensive tackle, is considered a 3* from 247, and has claimed offers from Rutgers, Syracuse, UMass and a bunch of FCS schools. According to the rating services he is considered the #3 recruit in Massachusetts behind his teammate and fellow LA commit Finn Dirstine and Penn State tight end commit Ryan Freirmuth of the Brooks School.
Lawrence Academy continues to produce talent for the Eagles, as Betro will be joining the aforementioned Dirstine, along with fellow commit tight end Joey Luchetti, freshman running back A.J. Dillon, tight end/wide receiver Chris Garrison, linebacker Doug Rodier, and transfer OL Eddy Fish.
I’ll break down what the current class looks like later this week. But it’s safe to say that it is definitely trending in the right direction, let’s hope Addazio can keep the momentum going.
You can check out Ryan’s HUDL film below. Welcome to the Heights!
