Boston College football has addressed one of their fans biggest concerns, as it appears that the spring game will be carried by ESPN through the ACC Extra Channel and can be watched on the “Watch ESPN” app.
The game, which will be played on April 22nd at noon at Alumni Stadium will give fans the chance to check out the upcoming QB battle between Darius Wade and redshirt freshman Anthony Brown. If BC does a format like they did last year, they will have a draft both QBs will get a “team” and they will play a traditional game. If you remember last year’s game ended with a 6-2 score, hopefully with the newly installed offense, this year’s game will be a little more exciting.
For many Boston College fans around the country this could be one of the first opportunities to watch a spring game, as video feeds of the game haven’t been available in the past. It’s a nice addition for those of us who won’t be able to make it to the stadium.
It appears that the new ACC Network deal is already paying dividends for Boston College and their fans.
