Softball Finishes the Week Unbeaten

Another strong week for the Eagles has concluded with three wins in three games against UMass-Lowell and Syracuse. The snowy weather on Friday prevented BC from playing the opener against Syracuse, but there was a strong recovery with two wins.

Against UMass-Lowell, Jessica Dreswick picked up win number 12 on the season, throwing five strong innings, allowing only one run before handing the ball to Kendra Fredt for the remainder of the game. Chloe Shrabba paced the offense in this one, singling home Brenna Griesser for the go-ahead run. She followed this up by scoring on a wild pitch for some extra insurance.

Against Syracuse, both games went 8-innings, ending with walk off wins for the Eagles. In the first game, Taylor Coroneos hit an RBI double in the seventh to force extras. In the second game, Chloe Shrabba was the hero, hitting a home run in the seventh inning. The winning runs came on a double by Ally Moore in the first game and a wild pitch that got Shrabba in from third in the second game.
