After a disappointing trip to Florida Gulf Coast, the Eagles were able to bounce back and get back to their winning ways at the ESPN world of sports in Orlando.

Boston College went in to the weekend at a respectable 8-7 and went 4-2 and left Orlando at 12-9.

This weekend, the Eagles got victories against Kansas, UT Chattanooga, Charlotte, and Mercer, while falling against James Madison and South Alabama. Jessica Dreswick updated her record to 7-4 on the year, cementing her status as the staff’s ace. When the offense can get her some runs across, she has been unbeatable, but the Eagles have lost most of their games in low scoring affairs. Of their 9 losses this year, only one has come when the Eagles have scored three or more runs.

Taylor Coroneos has paced the offense thus far, leading the team with a .383 batting average. Jordan Chimento has been the team’s most well rounded offensive player, with her .344 batting average ranking third on the team, and her three home runs second on the team behind Tatiana Cortez’ four.

This week, BC will face off against Penn and South Florida, before opening ACC play at UVA this weekend.
