After a week of speculation and rumors, Colin White has signed a contract with the Ottawa Senators organization. White has signed an ATO with the Binghamton Senators, Ottawa’s AHL affiliate, and will join the team immediately.

White was the 21st overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, going to the Senators in the first round. White was a member of the gold medal winning USA World Junior Championship team in 2017 and had a terrific tournament.

White was a major offensive force with BC as a freshman and made a solid impact as a sophomore, despite slightly decreased stats. During his 2 seasons at Boston College he recorded 76 points.

It is likely that White will make the jump to the NHL next season, but if not he will move to Canada with the AHL Senators when they move from Binghamton to Belleville in the fall.

Best of luck to White as he begins his professional hockey career!
