Join the Boston College Sports and Entertainment Law Society from 2-5 PM on Saturday, February 25 for the Second Annual Boston College Sports Law Symposium! The event will be held at Boston College Law School and will be followed by a networking reception at Union Street in Newton Center.
The event is open to everyone, not just students. This is a great opportunity to hear from a group of interesting and extremely accomplished speakers about the big issues facing the sports industry today.
This year’s topics are as follows:
Panel 1: “The Legality of Daily Fantasy Sports” with Fred Yen (BC), Faisal Hasan (DraftKings), and Michael McCann (UNH, Sports Illustrated).
Keynote on collective bargaining with Lyman Bullard (Choate Hall & Stewart).
Panel 2: “Legal Issues in College Athletics” with Warren Zola (BC), Alex Roy (Brown), and Paul Kelly (Jackson Lewis).
Please email Kayla Acklin to register (acklink@bc.edu).
(The BC Sports Law Symposium was founded by BCI Managing Editor, Laura Berestecki [me], so if you go you’re making BC Interruption happy!)
