Analysis: Valdez will add some much needed depth at defensive end but it’s unclear how quickly he can make an impact. The Don Bosco product missed most of his senior season after tearing his ACL. Valdez had surgery in October and is on the road to recovery. In the bigger picture, it is important for BC to reconnect with its important ties to Don Bosco.
