Analysis: Isaiah was certainly one of the more exciting recruits Boston College landed in the Class of 2017. Previously committed to Syracuse, in May he flipped his commitment probably due to a change in relationship with the new coaching staff at the Syracuse. Listed as an outside linebacker, McDuffie may have some time to grow and get used to the college speed and size. BC is losing Matt Milano to graduation, but they have a bevy of under classmen ready to step in including Sharieff Grice, Jimmy Martin, and Kevin Bletzer. I’d expect that McDuffie might be a prime candidate to redshirt this season.
