Analysis: A.J. Dillon is the crown jewel of the 2017 recruiting class, and one of the more impressive recruits that Steve Addazio has been able to land. Rated a 4* on Rivals, he was assumed to be headed to Michigan, but in December he wavered, and ended up committing to the Eagles. He missed his senior season due to an injury, and it’s unsure why he decided to decommit from the Wolverines. With the loss of Tyler Rouse and Myles Willis to graduation, Boston College needs running backs ready to play immediately and as long as he is healthy I imagine Dillon will be in the mix right from the start.
