Analysis: Justin Frye and Steve Addazio needed a cornerstone offensive lineman recruit for this class, and Petrula certainly looks like he could fit the bill. He’s huge already, comes from a BC feeder school (St. Peters) and his offer sheet rivals anyone else in this class. Addazio is getting his roster in the position he wants it to, so he probably can afford to redshirt a kid like Petrula given that BC should have some more experienced depth ready to play in front of him. However, in a year or two, if he develops, Ben Petrula could be a formidable force on the BC OL.
